  1. My definition of summer is reading a wonderful book in the sun while drinking lemonade with ice cubes (or better: ice cream!) Seems like you’ve been doing that too. It’s a shame that the last two days have been showing the true Dutch summer: rainy and no sun. I hope it gets better soon.

    • Yes! That, and barbecuing and eating outside. The weather has been really nice the past few weeks, so I’m glad I got to do all these fun summer things (: It was still very hot and sunny in the south yesterday, but today it’s thunderstorms galore. It should be better tomorrow, maybe not so warm but at least it shouldn’t rain

    • Ooo, have fun at the beach! It’s going by so quickly for me too, in just a few weeks the new academic year is starting. Eep. We better enjoy what’s left of it!

  2. Our summer this year is really weird. It’s either raining all the time or it’s so hot you cannot breath. But I do manage to enjoy with my friends and of course reading. I love your pictures and that BBQ seems really good 🙂

Yes! Barbecuing all the way! That’s the true definition of summer…that, and lemonade. And shopping sprees (whether that’s at a bookshop or the local high street) and late nights. Ah summer ❤
