I’m a sucker for TBR challenges and for making reading lists, so I thought I’d sign up for the Spring Clean Your TBR Challenge hosted by Faye & Caroline. I’m a bit late to the party, but the idea is to read some dusty books from the TBR pile in April. Even though this month is already pretty busy, one can’t blame a girl for trying to squeeze in just a bit more reading.
It’s readathon tiiiime! Hosted by Ner, Falling for Autumn is her first readathon. I’m also hosting a cool challenge for this readathon on the 24th, so make sure to come by next Wednesday. You can sign up over here.
There are also some official challenges for the readathon (which are optional and can be found in the sign up post). A few of them are too hard for me, but I will try these:
- Read a book with an autumnal colour on the cover (red, orange, brown, gold)
- Read a book with a male protagonist
- Read the first or last book in a series
I’ve browsed a bit, and found two books that together tick ALL of these challenges. Without further ado, here is my TBR for the readathon:
I have to admit that I’ve tried to read The Silkworm for another readathon before, but so far it hasn’t worked out yet. I do want to read this book pretty badly though, especially because I really enjoyed The Cuckoo’s Calling. Locke & Key: Welcome to Lovecraft is the first volume in the Locke & Key graphic novel series, and it’s great so far. It’ll be a really quick read, which is perfect for a readathon.
Are you participating in Falling for Autumn? What are you reading next week?
